Baby, It's Cold Outside - Wednesday

As this was our last day here, we wanted to get an early start so we were up and on the road by 8:45 a.m.  The traffic was light and the crowds light, too.  I think the cold and wind kept people away.  We were bundled up but it still felt cold.  We enjoyed Bridgeton.  It seemed like there were more antique dealers than past years.  Our lunch was the usual when we come here...Carol has chicken and noodles and I have a hot ham and cheese grilled on an old wood stove.

About 1:00 we headed back to camp, stopping by a new barn with local artists and craftsmen displaying their products.  We also had to stop one more time at the Amish couple who sell breads, pies, whoopie pies and apple butter.  Everything is so good and this will be our last opportunity to buy from them.

Back at camp around 2:30.  We are going to Crawsfordville to the Walmart to shop and post pictures to the blog.  We want to get some things packed up so there won't be as much to do tomorrow when we leave here.  We hope to be on the road by 9:00 a.m.  Thankfully, we will be back in CDT so that will give us an extra hour.  We will be camping at Cedars of Lebanon State Park near Nashville and want to get in there early enough to get settled before dark.

After not being here last year, we were glad to get back to Turkey Run and the festival.  These last nine days flew by and it doesn't seem like we should be going anywhere but home.  This will be a new experience for us to leave here and go on with our trip.   We are also hoping to have warmer camping weather.  By this time next week we should be in Florida and I am sure we will be wishing for cooler weather!
