Happy Birthday, Aidan

This was a lazy day for us.  We didn't get up until 7:30 a.m.  I made breakfast of bacon and eggs for the first time this trip.  We relaxed in the motorhome, reading, napping, watching TV, and snacking until it was time to pick up John.  We pass by a city park on the way to where John works and this fellow was panhandling.  He carried a sign which read, "Homeless, hungry, artist, God bless you."  He walked along the sidewalk that borders the park and street.  This same fellow has been here all three years we have been in Winter Haven.  The picture below shows an example of his art and you can see him between the poles.  He must make enough to sustain himself because he has been doing it for at least three years.

It is another warm day in Winter Haven, Florida.

Today is Aidan's 15th birthday and he chose Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday supper.

This is where all the action happens.  A sensory overload for the kids.
We had pizza, a large chocolate chip cookie and all the drink you can handle.  Actually, the pizza was good.
Just a few of the many games that can be played for tickets.  At the end of your play time, the tickets you win can be cashed in to purchase prizes.

Time to cash in the tickets.   What to choose?

This is what Aidan has waited all day for...opening presents!

Clouds to end the day.

It was a good day.  We enjoyed relaxing and not having to drive the motorhome anywhere and spending time celebrating Aidan's 15th birthday.
