Easy Day to Santa Fe

Woke up to rain this morning.  Fortunately we had loaded the car last night so only had electric to unplug before we could go.  Amazingly, when we crossed into New Mexico the sun came out and we have had sunshine every day since.   Because we couldn't check until 2:00, we had to spend some time in a rest area again.  We ate lunch and relaxed.  We made it to Santa Fe KOA at the 2:00 check in time.  We have a wonderful spot, right on the corner, with table, chairs, grill on a patio.  The only negative is that there is no cell or internet.  There is a cell hot spot outside the office and chairs to sit as you use your phone.  So, for the last three days I have not been able to blog.  Now, we are on I-25 South and I am trying to catch up.  I don't know if I will have internet at the state park we are camping in.

We saw this on the interstate in Colorado.  We had never seen a bear crossing sign.

Photos above and below are looking into New Mexico.

We saw herd after herd of prong-horned antelope after we crossed into New Mexico.

Our campsite, D1.  It was the perfect spot to spend the rest of the afternoon and evening before we begin to sight see in this area.
