Supporting Cast

I wanted to introduce you to the supporting cast of this new chapter in our story.  After years of camping in a tent and pop-up camper, we have a 30-foot Freedom Express RV.  We have put in our time and now we "rough it" in comfort.  Our other traveling companion is our dog Sandy.  On September 16 we will head out on a trip to Glacier NP, Yellowstone NP, Mount Rushmore NM, and the Badlands NP.

It will be a new adventure because of the camping accommodations, the new four-legged traveling companion, and no return date...WE ARE RETIRED.

I hope to journal everyday if the cell towers are kind to me.  Keep checking back.

Our home on the road.

In the Beginning

Since we started travelling together in 1966, I have kept a travel journal. Now that we're retiring, and fulfilling our dream of extended travel, our computer is hitting the road and my journal is heading into cyber space.

Here's the plan: After I retire, we pack up the Freedom Express (and Sandy Dog) and hit the road to begin a new series of adventures. Our first desitination: Glacier National Park, Montana.

So check back as I update our family and friends. I'll post pictures and stories as I have time. But remember... we're on permanent vacation, and I'm not in a hurry for anything!
